About HBF

This is a crisis. Over 70% of Black children are raised in single-parent homes where household incomes average at 30,000* annually. The marriage rate in the Black community has dropped to the lowest in the nation. Black youth and displaced workers are unskilled, leaving Black families out of tons of job opportunities. And the #1 cause of death for Black males between the ages of 15 and 24 is homicide, generally by another young Black male.

Individually, we have sat and watched the declination of Black communities, with failing Black families being a large basis for it. Together, we can extend hands-on help to our brothers and sisters and reinvigorate Black love. We will work to instill hard & soft skills into Black households so that Black men, women, and children can go into the world confident that they have a strong, loving support system at home.
